Though I know that Care-aides are taking over LPN jobs at places here in abbotsford, I want to be an LPN because I dont necessarily want to work in a hospital.
SOO. Since its under 3,000 to be a care-aide I figured I would take that at UFV in chilliwack and then while working part time casual take a bridging program to LPN.
BUT IM HAVING PROBLEMS FINDING ONE!
I called Sprott shaw and they emailed me back and said they have one and its under a year. I checked with Norquest college in Alberta and there bridging program is TWO years. Go figure. But its direct learning so I could still work.
Im looking to see if anyone has either done one and knows where I could go or knows of one.
Im assuming these bridgeing programs are about 6 months. It wouldnt make sense for them to be a year. Because thats what the LPN program is for someone with NO experience.
